Cool, thanks! Although I am afraid to see how vulnerable I am. Seems like every week, it gets harder and harder to be protected on the internet.

How did your router stack up?? Failed. But right now ( and for awhile now ) I haven't loaded anything but McAfee for a virus scan. Other than that, all I have is Mico's firewall. Oh, and lavasoft, but I don't count that. I've gotten lazy and just haven't loaded all my software. I just clean out cookies, and history and such every day and call it good and scan with lava.... And I scan daily for viruses. If I feel a big huge urge to protect myself, I just unscrew my router and just not be hooked up to the internet at all. Who is the latest and greatest this year for firewalls and such ? Have you heard ? ( this question is for any one )
Great to hear your machine passed with flying colors BBird ! When I have all my software loaded, normally I do also.

Bottom line, more failures than passed. I use to have this machine, where I passed every test that site gave. But I had a paid firewall going.

No. But I do have that modem from Direcway. I have the DW6000. Receives and transmits data over the satellite through the DIRECWAY network.

mine says
Your system has achieved a perfect "TruStealth" rating. Not a single packet — solicited or otherwise — was received from your system as a result of our security probing tests. Your system ignored and refused to reply to repeated Pings (ICMP Echo Requests). From the standpoint of the passing probes of any hacker, this machine does not exist on the Internet. Some questionable personal security systems expose their users by attempting to "counter-probe the prober", thus revealing themselves. But your system wisely remained silent in every way. Very nice.

I've thought about buying one with a built in firewall, but just haven't done it. And I know I should load my firewall, but haven't done that either. Such a pain. I don't even have my scanner/printer loaded right now. I'm running bare bone basics right this second. I've gotten rather lazy with my machine. Right now I'm only using 6.39 GB of space. I have 69.9 GB of free space. ;D For now, I'm content with my virus protector and lava soft and cleaning cookies and files.... And if I want to be real safe, just unplug the modem when not on. Can't get much safer than that ( and no software conflicts ).

True Stealth rating as well for me. I know about this site, a friend told me about it years ago.
I'm only using a D-Line DI-524 router, nothing else although my Mac has a built-in Firewall (OS X) and it works just as well.
But I'm not using that built-in firewall now.
