How long does a power strip cord last?
My on off switch has been blinking here lately like it is about to go out. I haven't noticed it doing this before.
I guess I have had it about 8-9 years maybe.
Should I get another one? Or is this one OK?

Do not use a power adapter or power cord if it shows signs of corrosion, overheating (such as deformed plastic), or other damage. And when in doubt, buy a new one.

Most power strips are good for about 5-7 years. after that the capacitors in them start to wear down and dont protect they way that they should.

Thanks! I think I got this one about 5-8 years ago. I might best get another one when I go to Wally world tomorrow!
It looks fine it is just the red light flashes (on off switch)alot. It just started doing that.
