The house I'm buying is technically two older single-wide trailers pushed together side by side, inside walls partially removed, covered entirely with siding and with a normal roof over it all. Or so it was explained to me, LOL! The sellers bought it this way, so they don't really know exactly how it was done either. Anyway, I'm wondering what it would entail to add a window in one of the outside walls - I have no clue how mobile homes are made or how the siding/outside shell was put on. Any ideas, anybody?

Vera have you tried anything yet on this subject? I'm still thinking about doing it, or having it done to this single wide in a couple of places. Just afraid of making a mess.

Angie, some friends of ours had a prefab bay window inserted in one of theirs. You might have to talk to a dealer to get this done right.
