A guy in my town is making papercrete blocks with the intention of building his children a playhouse. He gave me a block and I was surprised at how lightweight it was for it's size. i seen a program on the TV about a guy that built his house out of them. he was out west where they dont get much rain though

There is a house in think it is Ipswich,MA where one of my Aunts live...well...anyway.. there is a very old house there, made totally out of newspaper!! I know I have pictures of it somewhere in ones of the boxes. So...yes...I think it is possbile. And it has withstanded NE weather.
