I know how to make the soup, but have never canned it. Any suggestions?

Kaza when I canned mine I used the Ball Blue Book which I don't have handy. I found these instructions online with some very detailed pictures. I think you can skip the making the soup steps and start with the actual filling of the jars step. You will need to pressure can any soups. Canning Pea SoupIt is so nice to have pea soup or any soup ready when those cool fall days arrive and you have a lot of projects to do. Just open the jar; heat and eat! ;D

Thanks Kathy, I'll check em out. I want to can some soups etc this summer/fall... I love homeade soup, but with just the son and I here now, I haven't learned how to make a "small" pot of soup yet.... Kaza[/size]

and here I thought those lil pots were for warming up veggies. lol My soup pot is a huge steel thing.... not sure how many quarts, but will find out when I can it! hehehe Did you ever notice that no matter HOW hard you try to make a small batch, the pot always gets full before it tastes "right"?
