Fluffy Lemon-Poppy Seed Biscuits in a Bag
3 cups self-rising flour ½ cup granulated sugar 1 tbsp. poppy seeds 1 tbsp. dried grated lemon peel
In a medium bowl, stir together ingredients. Spoon into 1-quart cellophane bag. Tie securely with twist or rubber band. Attach the following recipe on decorative card:
Fluffy Lemon-Poppy Seed Biscuits
Preheat oven to 450° F. Empty contents of bag into medium bowl. Stir in 1 cup whipping cream, ½ cup milk and ½ teaspoon almond extract until dough forms. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with granulated or coarse sugar if desired. Bake for 10 to 12 mites or until golden brown. Makes 12 to 14 biscuits.
