I love Potato bread! My mother always made her bread with potato water and the mashed potatoes. It was so good with some homemade strawberry jam!
I'm going to try this recipe, I never got my mother to write hers down so I haven't had good homemade potato bread for close to 30 yrs.

I printed it off.....I am wondering...Kaza...have you ever made it with half WW flour before? I don't use white flour very often. I have rye, oat, wheat, spelt, what sounds better for that?

oat or wheat. I forget how to adjust a recipe that calls for white... to use wheat in it. I also use wheat, but never have in that recipe. I'd try the oat first I reckon. Kaza

That's what I was thinking! Oats sound better with spuds for some reason! I will try that next week!!! That bread sounds like it needs to be served with fried chicken and some homemade strawberry freezer jam! Mmmmmmmmmm! I don't know flour conversion dealies...cuz I never measure the flour anyway....I just add more till it feels right....I made bread the other day and what usually takes 6 cups of flour...took closer to 8 because I added some molasses and it was raining....so......ya' just never know...till ya' know...ya' know? ;D Sounds like a great recipe!!!!!
