I posted this site in the Debate area also but I thought; since you could do a state by state search of proposed development & eminent domain rulings-this might be helpful to anyone searching for land. Better IMO, to be over informed than sign purchase papers on a property that is part of a proposed take over. maps.castlecoalition.org/

Thank you for posting the map - this subject makes me so mad. I am still in shock at the Supreme Court's decision. /VM

See they make this Law. Then do another Law that will make it just about impossible to raise our own animals for food. Sure Chips for humans are next. Have seen some Newspaper articles that folks are all ready getting chipped in some places of the country because they think it is cool.
So what happened to the Land of the Free?

Okay, call me the "Dumb Blonde"!!! I've been seeing these two words everywhere, "Eminent Domain" and I still don't know what it means, or what it's all about! I figure this is the safest place to ask. Is it like, Cities, gobbling up land for housing development? Because if that's the case I'm VERY familiar with that! Won't be 5 more years before I'm gonna have to bug outa here to get away from the sheeples.

Here's the legal definition for you Painted Daisy. Now add to that a recent Supreme Court ruling which held up the right of local governments to use Eminent Domain to take land for private uses instead of just things like parks, schools, etc.
