My land is mostly maple trees. I tapped four of them in the front yard one spring just to see what I'd get. Unfortunately it was the spring of starting my job and I had no time to work with the sap. But I got at least 50 gallons of sap from 4 trees. I managed to get a quart of syrup but the rest went bad.

This year I would like to do more.
