Backsplash Ideas

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but it's close enough ;D

My kitchen is sage green with light hickory cabinets and almond countertops. All my appliances are almond too. Does anyone have any neat ideas for a backsplash?

Something that will be easy to clean.

Glass with something interesting mounted under it?

Copper or other metal sheet. Actually, I am wondering if I can get a piece of metal off the old hot water heater ...... would make a white back splash, if I could get it without tearing it up.
