I finally managed to find a had operated Country Living grain Mill that was less than $800.00Cdn. I was nosing around ebay when I found a brand new one listed as But It Now for only $345US. With shipping and extra fee for paypal I got it for $450.00Cdn. I'm so excited. Hubby frowned when I told him I bought it but he'll appreciate the homemade bread from the fresh ground flour.

Congratulations! ;D Those are nice mills! Hubby will start to get early middle age spread from all that great homemade bread. Next you'll need a cow for buttermaking purposes! I bet your kitchen will smell wonderful come fall!

Wow, I'd love to have one of those, too. I have a teeny manual one, but it would take forever to grind enough flour to make a loaf of bread. It would be so much better to grind your own than buying flour in a store, though. I always wonder what's really in there.

Sorry, Kitaye, I should have said I wish I could afford one of those! I can't, so you don't need to post her e-mail address for me. Unless someone else wants it.
Maybe someday if we become rich and famous from Rich's invention, I'll be able to have one. (Maybe I should just change my name to "Famous" then we'd already BE Rich & Famous! LOL!)

I understand completely Lannie. I've been looking for a relatively inexpensive, used, grain mill for over a year now. We did alot of research and had decided this was the best kind but the cost was really prohibitive. When I saw it on Ebay for less that half what I had seen it everywhere else I made the plunge...and still having second thoughts on spending that kind of money.
I hope Rich's invention works out to be a good ource of extra income for you guys. Good luck with the patent searches and such.
