I got a north star pie cherry, two goldcot apricots, a bosc pear and a bartlett.

I've never had any apricot trees; is the tree care similar to peaches?

Woohoo...I get to join you in getting fruit trees too! Home Depot is having a one week fruit tree promo in our area, and I was going there to get more lumber and came home with 10 fruit trees too! Dh even dug the holes for me, lol.

I got two of each kind...apple, pear, cherry, plum, apricot so now I have a total of 12 fruit trees on the property. My two apple trees I planted 5 years ago were itty bitty things when I got them but these trees are all around 10 ft tall and the apple trees already have apples (gala). Its kind of funny but I've always wanted an orchard but we live in the middle of the woods so instead we planted them out on the edge of the lawn around the house. So now I am calling our yard the orchard!! They should get at least a half a day of sun.....I hope! Cross fingers!!

It's really nice to have your own fruit! 12 trees, you didn't mess around. ;D Plums and cherries will sometimes produce a few fruit the second year-you may have to arm wrestle the kids for them though.
