I got a real good deal on 10# of jalapeno's so I bought them. They're huge and beautiful, perfect for canning. So this afternoon, I'll be processing my first jars of the season.

Kathy, I still have last summer's jalapenos in the freezer. They're fiery hot, even without the seeds. I tried jalapeno jelly but I can only eat so much of it.
What are you going to do with yours?

Via, I made some into nacho rings and then I chopped the rest for salsa. btw, I love my food processor-my fingers stayed burn free this time! Those chopped ones I froze since my tomatoes will be in before the jalapenos. Now I can make my first batches of salsa & chili as soon as the tomatoes are ready.
