UH,  I used to know but I forgot since it has been awhile. I don't like some of the icons on my desktop. I want something different so how can I change them. If I don't like the one my computer offers is there a site I can go to ? |

A really good site for getting icons is www.iconarchive.com/ there are alot of good icons there as well as tips and tricks and things of the such. To change your icons, its real easy. Just right click on the icon you want to change and then go to properties. it will bring up a window. At the top of the window you will see 3 tabs(labeled General, Shortcut, and Compatibility) Go to the tab labeled shortcut. Close to the bottom of the window you will see a button labeled Change Icon. It brings up the change icon window. from there you just browse to the icon that you want to use, select it in the lower window and click ok. and that is all there is to it. Mark |
