latley i am having a problem with keeping more than one window open...as i am to open a second ..the secxond replaces the first so the origial does not stay...it doesnt happen to all windows that i open but just a few things...also in a few things as i click on links my rediect isnt there ( back button)...so i am forced to close the window...but as i do this the original window wont be there either...i have no idea as what to do with this anymore...as long as this continues i willnot be able to post pictures here...it also happends in a few e mail subscriptions that i have.... where links need to be clicked and as i do...the origianl window is gone as i have to close..forcing me to re open my e mail again....this is frustrating  |

well all i did find the answer....it all has something to do with a yahoo toolbar that worked its way into this system...so i uninstalled the toolbar and the problem is gone....just an fyi if anyone should have this problem as well...thanks snowhite for the info....that was awsome !

I was looking around for an anwer for you tressapet, but guess didn't do that good EH!!!...There are so many of those darn toolbars out there nowadays, and you never know anymore when one has been loaded or not...The only one that I use is the Google toolbar, but even that can screw up if not installed properly....Sorry I never got a rememedy for your problem, but did have one of my best computer wizards (snowhite) finding the answer for you...lol...bye for now....

Try this Tress IE / Tools / Internet options / Advanced and uncheck the reuse windows for launching shortcuts.  should do the trick. |

I already told her to do that, but that didn't work. The info that I found included that and the yahoo tool bar thing. She said that unchecking the lauch shortcut thing didn't work, but removing the tool bar did.
