Digital camera won't download...

... came back from my trip with 500 pics on it, and now it won't download them... It's a new camera, and I didn't have trouble downloading from it before.... could there just be too many pics on it right now?

I'm at a loss...

it is not that there are too many pictures on it. it probably has something to do with the method of transportation between the camera and the computer. How does it connect(ie. Docking station, usb cable etc).
