Yes it's free and I really like it! That's my #1 choice for a photo hosting site and the only one I use for photos & avatars for this forum. There's even some nice tutorials on how to build a photo album, place links in blogs & auctions and my favorite-HTML practice tutorials!! ;D Here's a good place to get started: FAQ's www.photobucket.com/faq.php

This might help photobucket.com/tutorials/Step 1 is saving pictures to your computer Step 2 is getting a picture hosting site. I like photobucket.com/ because it uses the url and img features both Url feature provides the link to view the picture rather than automatically showing the photo - people with dial-up appreciate this Img feature automatically shows the photo - when using this feature always preview before actually posting to any forum due to excessive sizing of your photo(photos can be resized) Step 3 To upload photos, click the Upload Photos link. You will see a screen that has several blank fields followed by a "Browse" button. Click the Browse button after a blank field and navigate within your own computer to find the images you want to post. Double click the image file to select it and click the Upload/Submit button at the bottom of the page. . This might take a few minutes…your photo will be downloaded Step 4 copy either the url or the img properties and then paste it to your post. Step 5 resize if necessary
