Just want to let everyone know my baby passed away Saturday night. She was 2 months from being 11 years old.

I came home from work and she was so sick, I knew I had to take her to the Emergency Animal Clinic. I called momma and daddy they met me there. She was OK when I left to go to work that morning.

To make a long short she had some tumors but one the size of a softball. They wanted to keep her until Monday and do all kinds of things that I can’t afford. Then my vet would have probley done all kinds of things that I can’t afford. If she was that bad off she may not have made it anyway with all the treatment. I asked the vet why she hasn’t had any problems before now. He said it had been growing for some time but it must have shifted causing her problems all the sudden. The tumor was pressing on all her organs. I took her home with me and she passed away during the night.

I am OK because I know she had a great life. I knew this was coming one day I just thought I had a few more years.

Starfire, I'm so sorry. Millie was such a sweet looking little gal & I know how much you loved her.

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear this. It's so hard to lose them, even IF you kind of expect it. It still hurts a bunch. {{{hugs}}}

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, Starfire. Even when we're prepared for the loss it's still a sad difficult thing to deal with, but now she has no more sickness and pain. You'll see her again.

Thanks everyone, I am getting better but it is still hard. It was just such a shock.
