Blueberry fever

Yesterday we picked several gallons of blueberries. My friend invites me every year to come pick some. She has a picking schedule and we are the 2nd ones to go. I am moving up on the friends list!

We have about 6 plants of our own but they are only 2 years old so we don't get a big crop yet. Her 20 bushes are about 15 years old and they really produce.

Now that's a great friend, to share her blueberries. I love blueberries...our's are not quite ready to be picked and like you they are not that old so we usually have a some muffins and pancakes with them and that's it.

The wild huckleberries on the property are almost ready. A few more days and I'll be overdosing on them, lol.
