They are also called Doxies
Does anyone know anything about these dogs? One of the rescue places might have a Boston-Doxie mixed. I don't know anything about Doxies, so I was wondering if anyone else does.
About the breed, good, bad, and health proplems etc.

I've never had one but a neighbor had 3 and they were really sweet dogs. They did seem to be less tolerant of young kids with high pitched voices but with older kids and adults they were fun loving and very sweet.
I think crosses or mixed breeds usually end up with the best attributes of each breed. Boston bulldogs are so darn cute and lovable; I have a feeling the mix would be a great little dog.
Do you have any pictures of this little one?

I trained and showed dogs for years. was bitten by 5 diffrent Doxies (owned by 5 diffrent people)..... ankle biters... but some folks adore them...  (Sorry, you asked) hehe They are prone to back issues, leg issues and eye problems (what breeds aint these days?) Overall, they are a hearty, happy lil bugger (till they bite ya ankles lol) Kaza |
