Ginger Ale Ham Glaze
1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 1/4 cup ginger ale (preferably a strong ginger ale like Vernors or Blenheims)
Combine brown sugar and 1/4 cup ginger ale. Stir well and set aside.
Pour the remaining 1 cup of ginger ale over the ham in a baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 325Fdegrees for 15 minutes per pound, basting occasionally with the ginger ale and pan juices. During final 30 minutes of baking, brush brown sugar mixture over ham.
