At the shop, there is a neat footstool I want to make. It's a simple "box with legs and a flip-top" design. I want to make it out of wood, bevel the edges, and stain it. So, I price a router and the wood, stain, screws, hindges and legs... oh, yes, and the router bit... $150.00!!!
At least I'll have the router for the NEXT project..... what else can I find that I "need"? Maybe a sander... yeah! I just might need a sander to make a matching coffee table to the stool... hehe

Maybe you could make a few extra stools with those tools and sell them, then the tools would be essentially free. We want pics when you finish the project.

Maybe you can rent the router?

True.... not sure where/who I'd sell them to... hmmm... maybe some of my housekeeping clients. I'll have to give that some thought.
Momo... around here, IF the rental place even has routers to rent, it would cost at least half as much as just buying one.

Yep! Plus, if I just buy one, I'll have it for future brainstorms I may have.
