The peas are sending shoots up the trellis, the corn is knee high, the cabbages are about half grown. Before long we will be harvesting alot of new things.

Snow..I love it! My Aunt told me that once when she was young they actually had light snow on the 4th of July! I'm guessing your aunt isn't from Alabama? I remember one 4th of July not all that many years ago right here in the state of 'Misery' we went over to the county seat to see the fireworks and it felt good to wrap up in a blanket. That definitely does NOT happen very often. Usually it's hot and HUMID here by that time of year. I finally got some seed in this past Saturday. Too rainy up until then, and it's rained a bunch since. I was lucky to slip this planting in. Momo, do you have any garden pics?

My Aunt lives in the "old country" Pittsburgh!
Today we harvested about 2 pounds of green beans.

I love all of the fresh spring vegetables, they taste so good after store bought or canned during the winter months. I can't wait for my first tomatoes & peppers to ripen. I am planting beans & cukes tomorrow after work.
