We're having our first cold snap, so I'll be bringing in the last of my tomatoes and cutting the leeks, this week-end. Maybe cut the herbs.
Will have to cover a few flowers on Sunday nite.
Is it the end of the harvest season in your neighborhood, too?

Well, it was warm this afternoon. I never cut down the tomato plant, so will wait and see if something late appears.
Anyone else still have veggies, fruits, or herbs growing?

Nothing is growing here, we had a few hard freezes( low 20's) and now it's back up to the 50's but alas, it is too late to revive anything. Today it's been pouring rain, over 3" so far and it's not letting up at all. I suppose I should be thankful it isn't snow.

We still haven't had any hard freezes. It might be another week or two until we do.
DH just brought in a beautiful bunch of horseradish. It is the first time we have grown any and it did well. It is nice and tender. Our neighbor told us his had turned hard/woody but ours didn't. I just printed off how to fix it from online. I'll have to go outside to grate it because of fumes. DH loves horseradish but I think we are going to have way more than the two of us can eat. I guess I need to share with our neighbor who wasn't as lucky as us.
