I'm one of those who has always liked to pick up rocks, have even bought a few.
Given them as gifts, gone to see rock formations, etc.
Anyone else like rocks, stones, etc.?

Not me, but my son saved them alot as a kid.
We are loaded with rocks around here. About half of our mountains are nearly solid rock. You would love it!

I'm a rock hound and have hundreds of pounds of rocks/stones that I've collected from across the USA. Shiny rocks have always caught my attention; I started collecting them when I was around 7yrs old. Today I put two pieces of pinkish limestone(?) with streaks of quartz in the birdbath. The sun hits that quartz and the birds seem to flock in.

Momo, it sounds pretty where you live.
Kathy, I like rocks in the birdbath, too. The hummingbirds have gone for the year, though. I miss them.

My daughter loves rocks & has a pretty big collection.I got her a rock polisher & then the collection really started to grow . She makes keychains & simple necklaces with them to.
